I focus my litigation practice on criminal defense, employment law, and appeals. My criminal practice includes cases in both state and federal courts. I have represented clients charged with crimes such as murder; motor vehicle homicide; conspiracy; drug possession, distribution, and trafficking; weapons offenses; money laundering; visa fraud; assault and battery; sexual assault; incest; operating under the influence; disorderly conduct; and resisting arrest.
In my civil practice, I focus primarily on employment law, where I represent employees whose rights are being violated at work. I fight for clients who are opposing unlawful employment practices, such as discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and violations of other state and federal laws. I also provide advice and counseling: I help employees address problems that arise in the workplace, I review contracts, and I negotiate separation or severance agreements.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.
