Edward Shoulkin is a skilled litigation attorney with over 30 years of experience in a broad range of matters, including personal injury claims, labor and employment law issues, insurance coverage, business disputes, real estate and construction disputes, product liability cases, premises liability actions, and liquor liability claims, among others.
He has expertise in handling professional liability disputes and disciplinary proceedings involving accountants, real estate brokers, health care providers, insurance agents, attorneys, property managers, home inspectors, and other professionals. Clients rely on Ed’s skills and experience in achieving favorable outcomes at trial, as well as through dispositive motions and alternative dispute resolution. He also has experience in handling education law related matters, and in drafting and negotiatiing contracts for various types of services and transactions.
In employment and business litigation disputes, Mr. Shoulkin has successfully obtained injunctive relief to enforce a non-competition covenants against former employees. He has also successfully defended employees and businesses who were confronted by non-compete and non-solication agreements, as well as employees who were otherwise aggrieved by their employers' breach of other terms of their employment agreements, including severance agreements.
He has assisted indivudals who have been injured and suffered damages in a variety of situations, including motor vehicle and premises liablity incidents. Mr. Shoulkin also represents individuals in real estate disputes, inclduing in disputes with developers, brokers, and condominium owners.
Since 2005, Mr. Shoulkin has maintained an AV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell National Law Directory, the highest rating available for legal ability and ethical standards. He has been named to the Massachusetts Super Lawyers directory (2013-18).

Mr. Shoulkin is a founding member and President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance. He is also a member of CLM’s Professional Liability Committee. CLM is a nationwide organization of risk and litigation managers, insurance and claims professionals, corporate counsel, defense counsel and professional vendors. It promotes the highest standards of claims and litigation management and brings together the thought leaders in both industries.
Mr. Shoulkin is on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Defene Lawyers Associattion (MassDLA), for which he also serves as MassDLA's Legislative Liaison.
