 My work is civil litigation involving  all sorts of disputes, from simple to highly complex. I hope to represent anyone faced with important litigation needs.  I have sucessfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants throughour my career. 

  My goal in all enagagements is to deliver the best result possible in light of your objectives. My main goal is a favorable outcome, but sometimes the facts or the law are not totally favorable and we need to think about what can be acheived.  My  work has allowed me to serve as lead trial counsel in a number of successful high- stakes jury trials  in Massachusetts and nearby states. My litigation work includes trials in all state and federal courts in Massachusetts and in state and federal courts in  several nearby states.

 I am a a partner in the Boston office of Freeman Mathis Gary, a nationwide litigation firm. If and when  needed for your engagement I can o call on the skills and support of  FMG staff and attorneys in our Boston office and in 21 other FMG  offices nationwide, If you need litigation counsel outside Massachusetts  we almost certainly can help you.

 I am admitted to practice  in Massachusetts and New York. I am a a graduate of Dartmouth College, summa cum laude,  and Columbia Universiity School of Law.   

Since 1998 I have been rated "AV preeminent "  by the  Martindale-Hubbell rating service. That is  the highest rating available to practicing lawyers. It  signifies preeminence in adherence to professional and ethical standards. In 2022 and numerous prior years I have also  been honored to be named a "Super Lawyer" in Massachusetts and  in New England by Law and Politics magazine in the practice areas of general litigation, business litigation, and intellectual property litigation.
