I was having an issue with my landlord that I needed resolved. I consulted with Andrew and he immediately and clearly laid out my rights. He spoke with me on the phone and was eager to give me all the information I needed to properly handle the situation, he did not pressure me to pay for services an...d gave me all the tools I needed to resolve my issue myself. It was clear to me that he was angry on my behalf about my landlord abusing his power and he really cared about helping me, not about the paycheck. He speaks with vigor and passion and clearly cares about his job a lot.

When I hired him, he presented himself well, strong in his filed of law and an attorney I could count on as a defense attorney. Once time passed and I had an opportunity to know him, my opinion changed. I found this attorney to be secretive (not forth coming), too involved with relying on his peers, ...too involved and trusting of the DA's opinions and desires to resolve the case, avoids confrontation with his client when the situation is tough and has a tendency to be forgetful, which he blames the client, stating the client is lying (in one fashion or another). It is unfortunate I have to be this blunt. I am not comfortable complaining, but lawyers are expensive, legal cases have time restraints and consumers should know what they are getting for their money. He can be combative, crass, nasty towards his clients and just plain mean. It is my opinion, as well as others, he is a status seeker; more concerned with first impressions and outwardly appearances, than his follow through. There is a very good probability he has been burnt out by his profession. I and some lawyers I have spoken with, who know and do not know him, have discussed the feeling that gradually raised its head over time, from him, that he is an attorney who really no longer wants to be in the field of law, at least certainly not Criminal Defense Law. 'These attorneys I had spoken with were primarily non-criminal defense attorneys, so they had no interest to make these statements in an attempt to convince me to be a client.'
