Lauren began her career working in the legal field in her home state of Wisconsin and since then in connection with various agencies in Massachusetts, including the New England Innocence Project, Committee for Public Counsel Services and Suffolk Lawyers for Justice. Upon graduating law school, Lauren had the opportunity to work with a number of prominent attorneys in and around the Boston area where she excelled at writing and oral advocacy, second seating her first homicide trial less than four months after becoming a lawyer.
Lauren was a partner at two prominent Boston area law firms before opening her own.

Lauren also engages the New England legal community by participating in workshops and legal training seminars, including serving on MBA panels, MCLE panels, law school and high school mock trials, and for the past several years, she has served as a speaker at the New England School of Law Public Interest Law Forum.

An Excellent Attorney

Lauren was a wonderful attorney. She helped me in a very complicated case. She trusted me on everything I shared with her and guided me as if it was her own case. She was always available whenever I needed her. More than that she never demanded me any extra money for any new thing was coming up along the way. It was a long fight but I never thought for a single time that I needed to change her. I would definitely recommend her as an attorney!

Excellent attorney

My husband & I hired attorney Lauren Thomas to help resolve 2 cases he had for over a decade. His cases were quite complicated as he was in immigration custody but attorney Thomas knew exactly what to do . She worked hard and was able to clear both cases for him in a fast timely manner / always kept us informed along the way! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a criminal attorney.

Empathetic and Professional

Lauren kept my best interests at heart and argued for them throughout the entire case. She was endearing, supportive and extremely professional through out the entire case. I would highly recommend Lauren to anyone that needs representation.

highly recommend

Ms. Thomas was extremely professional and efficient. I couldn't have asked for better representation. She always answered my questions and concerns thoroughly and made sure I understood everything completely. And as a pleasant surprise she was so compassionate. It's just not something you expect when you are handling legal matters, but I could tell she really cared about the outcome of my case.

Mock Trial Coach

Attorney Thomas was a wonderful Mock Trial coach. She was extremely well liked and respected by my students. She is, without question, the best attorney coach that ever worked with our team. We cannot thank her enough for all of the many, many volunteer hours that she gave to the team.

mr Johnson

I had mrs thomas about a year or two ago.My girl friend walked into her office well the firm she was with at the time and all the lawyer that we visited that day week month turned us away .Mrs Thomas called the next day and said I'm going to visit Mr Johnson and she showed no money she talked listened and showed the desire as well as made sure that I shared her vision witch was justice.She was very strong scary and straightforward I'm a dig guy and Ben threw a lot but she scared me in a good way.She made sure I knew I had someone on my side that believed in me.she fought till the end and we have been communicating to this day.She's a strong willed lawyer and fights for those who not need but want help and change.Honestly because of her I have been out of trouble because she showed me that she will fight for change justice and i can return that buy following her ideas I've recommended her to others and I'm proud to say she's fighter and honest trustworthy

One of a kind

Attorney Thomas is not only a tremendous lawyer with a giant arrow pointed up, she is a genuine and compassionate human being that understands life is not black and white. If she agrees to take your case, you are fortunate and you should jump at the opportunity. Lauren took my call months ago as I walked aimlessly around a Boston court house after trying and failing to figure out how to expunge a 15 year old incident of fraud on the court. She listened to my case that day on the phone and sat down with me at a later date to review the all the evidence I was able to gather and took meticulous notes. She told me she believed me and would fight to help me clear my name. Unfortunately, I allowed my past dealings with attorneys to get the best of me and by the time I realized I was being a fool it was too late. Don't make the same mistake I did. Hire Lauren if she says she will take your case and more importantly, believe in her, especially if she says she believes in you.

Lauren Thomas is an Excellent Lawyer

Lauren Thomas was unable to accept my case and represent me, however, Lauren answered my call from her cell phone directly. Lauren listened to me. Lauren related to my legal problems and concerns. She was extremely professional. Even though she could not represent me, Lauren consulted me, and told me EXACTLY who should BEST represent me. Lauren spent over an hour helping me. Product Contract

As the Director of Community Outreach at an animal shelter, I reached out to Lauren when I was overseeing the completion of a bullying prevention curriculum that would be available for national distribution in a matter of months. It was late in the process when we realized we needed to have a contract to outline the use and conditions of purchasing the program. While we did our best to include information that we believed was relevant, Lauren was amazing in guiding us through the process and working with us to ensure we had accurately covered all needs. She even pointed out concerns in some of the language we used from a similar contract that could have caused problems down the road. Creating something like this is very stressful and can put your organization at risk if it is not done right. I was very happy with both the legal support and the way Lauren worked directly with us. She was genuinely passionate about helping us meet our goals.
