I am not one inclined to overuse superlatives, but Jonathan Macedo is truly a master of his profession. Some time ago I was stricken with an adult-onset, degenerative neuro-muscular disease so rare that it took an inordinate amount of time to diagnose. My employer & their insurance providers used... this as a reason to deny my short and long-term disability benefit claims. It was, however, my good fortune to be referred to Mr. Macedo. When presented with the facts of my situation, he was willing to take on the case. I am so glad that I contacted Jonathan when I did! I had surgery and I have been out of work for 3 months because of complications. I was having a very difficult, stressful and frustrating time navigating through the disability process. I had first been denied for short term disability because th...ey said that it should be a worker's compensation claim. Worker's comp then denied the claim. Disability then paid for 4 weeks but then denied the claim again. They said that my doctor didn't return a form to them in the allotted time. So, now I am in the disability appeal process. Jonathan is so patient, professional and detail oriented. He spent so much time explaining the process to me and making sure that I had all of my documentation in order.
