Roderick S. Oreste

Attorney Roderick S. Oreste is the principal attorney of Oreste Law.   He received his Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.   

Before founding his law firm, Rod spent over 12 years working for New England’s beloved baseball team, the Boston Red Sox.   During his tenure there, he held several management positions in the Public Affairs department and acted as the Red Sox alumni liaison.  He dealt with all issues concerning former Red Sox players and coaches and facilitated their appearances at corporate and charitable events.  In 2007 Rod co-authored the book, Red Sox Legends, which includes a collection of Red Sox photographs assembled by the Boston Public Library accompanied by short stories and player interviews about Red Sox history.   Rod attended Suffolk University Law School while also working full-time for the Red Sox.

Rod has served on the Board of Directors for the Mansfield Housing Corporation, a non-profit housing corporation tasked with investigating and implementing alternatives for affordable housing in the Town of Mansfield.  He has volunteered for Metro West Legal Services which provides legal services for poor, elderly, disabled and disenfranchised people.  Rod is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce.

Since opening Oreste Law, Rod has taken on a wide range of litigation cases involving family law, trademark law, construction law, personal injury, real estate law and contract law.  Rod has also drafted and reviewed numerous contracts, wills, trusts and other legal documents for his clients.
