Monique Boucher Lamb

BEWAR. I read the comments and I see I am not the first experiencing this. Attorney Monique Lamb has been pulling this trick for years now and apparently sleeping well! In a nutshell, after taking the $7500 lump sum fee, Attorney Monique Lamb e-filed for the divorce case and initiated a temporary or...der but then never scheduled for court hearing. This resulted in me losing my parental time. Later when I followed up asking for the status of the temporary order, she blamed me that I didn’t follow up with her, while she had clearly stated that she would be scheduling the court hearing. As I tried to follow up with her to take other needed actions on the divorce case, she declared that the collaboration isn’t productive, and requested to withdraw. Attorney Lamb then billed for every one liner email I sent, some of which she didn’t even respond to. And, after pulling this trick and essentially billing for email correspondence, she had the nerve to offer “professional courtesy” of a few hundred dollars, which I had to reject. In a nutshell, I lost a lot of money, a lot of time, a very favorable case position, many days of parenting time, and got no outcome. It’s sad to see others are falling for the same, so again - BEWAR. There are dozens of other lawyers - it’s always better to hire through personal recommendation from friends. I am skeptical about five star reviews here and in other resources.

I hired Ms Lamb to resolve a student loan debt negotiation. Not only did she not assist with this process but never told her that "her attempts did not work'. After being served by the Sheriff I found out Ms Lamb wasn't "successful." No notes, no files, three calls $2500. You could do better elsewher...e,

I hired Monique Lamb to represent me in a divorce. During the initial meeting she outlined the steps she would take to try and resolve the case for a flat fee. She stated if the case could not be resolved, an additional fee would be due for trial. In the 8 months leading to a trial, she took no actio...n to prevent a trial, and took none of the steps indicated in our meeting. Requests for information, meetings and updates on the case were not responded to. I was given incorrect dates, times of meetings and 50% of court documents were riddled with errors.

Monique handled my 2018 divorce modification. She was able to resolve issues that were significant, expensive and meaningful to my family. She kept the interests that were important at hand and I never felt as though she was "watching the clock." All of my questions were answered and she made me f...eel as though I finally had a fair settlement. I would highly recommend Monique.
