Best attorney to work with

My experience with Mark at Sweeney Merrigan Law greatly exceeded my expectations. As difficult as this process has been, it could not have gone any smoother working with Mark. When I first reached out to this firm, I included a blurb about my case and Mark reached out immediately. My case was complex..., but he did not dismiss it. Instead, he covered all the details with me and sent me an article that resembled my medical situation. He kept me in the loop as he consulted experts and he continued to update me for the next three years. Any time I reached out to him with a question, he responded quickly. He checked in with me every so often to discuss the case and he made sure that I felt prepared for both the deposition and the settlement meeting. This process is incredibly uneasy and it is difficult not knowing the outcome. Mark knew my case inside and out, and I always knew I could count on him. He kept me calm and collected and I could not have asked for a better attorney to work with.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
