Donald R Bumiller

Donald R. Bumiller is a seasoned trial lawyer whose zealous advocacy has earned him numerous courtroom victories throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is admitted to practice before the Massachusetts State and Federal Courts as well as the U.S. Supreme Court.

After graduating cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, Mr. Bumiller started his own trial practice law firm in Lynn, Massachusetts. Gaining his initial experience in the District Courts, Mr. Bumiller’s practice quickly expanded to the Superior Courts and evolved from criminal defense to personal injury, business and probate litigation. Many of his clients are referred to him by lawyers and court personnel.

Throughout his career, Mr. Bumiller has also worked to improve access to justice for all litigants. He is a past President of the Essex Bar Association, served in the Massachusetts Bar Association House of Delegates and is Life Member of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation. He also serves as a Superior Court Conciliator helping to resolve civil disputes prior to trial.

He currently lectures in the Practicing with Professionalism course required of all new lawyers and has chaired continuing legal education programs on pre-trial discovery, settlement techniques, and obtaining injunctive relief. His passion for improving the court system led him to seek election to the Massachusetts Governor’s Council and The House of Representatives.

Before joining Mazow | McCullough, Mr. Bumiller worked at the Peabody law firm of Maclean, Holloway, Doherty & Sheehan, concentrating in business, trust and probate litigation.

Mr. Bumiller is a Partner in the law firm, concentrating in the firm’s personal injury practice while also representing his clients in business and probate cases.

Mr. Bumiller is married to his wife Lauri. They reside in Middleton, Massachusetts and have a blended family of four children.
