I cannot express the gratitude I have for attorney Cheryl McCormick. While going through a difficult situation with my child's mother, I found myself needing the expertise of an attorney. Dealing with an unexpected divorce has been one of the most difficult things I've had to deal with in life. Will I still be able to see my daughter as much as possible? She's extremely fair with her billing, and does not charge for quick emails, texts or phone calls. Divorce is tough, but trust me life will go on. I called her late one night and she got back to me the next morning not only that but I was unable to meet her at her office so instead of rescheduling we met somewhere in the middle she got straight to the point an...d didn't waste any time. Right off the bat I told her the solution I wanted out of this and it seemed like from that moment on her main objective wasn't about how much money she could take from me it was about getting to the solution that I wanted. She made it known that men have just as much equal rights in Family Court as women do and I am beyond pleased with the end results thanks to her i can watch my son grow up in to the awesome man he is going to become.

I would strongly recommend Cheryl as an attorney for anyone going through a divorce involving children, especially men. I came to Cheryl with a lot of open ended things from my divorce agreement (because I couldn't afford a lawyer when it was done with my ex). Cheryl took the time and met with me ini...tially to point out a lot of openings that could come back to bite me in terms of time with my daughter. It was clear that from the beginning Cheryl wasn't looking to milk out billable hours with me, instead cutting right to the chase and having great communication with me over what I needed to take care of, and what her goals were with representing me. Cheryl would keep me informed every step of the way whether it be through email, phone calls, or text messages. She also was such an incredible advocate with my ex's lawyer for me and what I was looking for in this amendment to our original agreement. In the courtroom Cheryl was just as good as she was out of it. She was able to voice my concerns to the judge in our case in a manner that I was unable to. In the end Cheryl was able to help me through the amendment process and get things straightened up and put in writing that I was unaware needed to be. Like I stated previously, I would highly recommend Cheryl for an attorney, specifically for men going through a divorce.
