I had an OUI conviction 1996 which in Massachusetts permanently disqualified from owning a firearm. In 2015 I sat before the Firearm Licensing Review Board (FLRB) and petitioned to have my right to posses a firearm restored. The town I live in then issued me a LTC. I felt so good knowing that after taking responsibility for my poor decisions as a much younger man and trying to learn from my mistakes and making good decisions, that after 20 years I was found suitable to have my 2nd amendment right restored. Well the story does not end there, in 2018 the Massachusetts Attorney General ruled that people who had their LTC issued through an FLRB ruling would no longer be recognized and that these people would no longer be able to posses a firearm or LTC. My reaction..... Noooooooooo !!!!! This cant be !!!!!! I had joined a range, purchased firearms and now I was going to be in violation of the law!!!!
