Great Divorce Attorney

Valerie was wondering in handling my case. She answered all my questions and also took the time to explain the process to me in full. She also was there for me to calm me down a bit when negotiations where heated. She guided me to make the smart decisions and what was best for me in the long run. I w...as extremely happy with her and with how everything worked out.

Unprofessional

This attorney was hired to represent me in a post divorce case. She took a very hefty retainer and told me that she was going to the court house the following week to file the appropriate paperwork. Out of the blue, she sent me a letter informing me that she no longer had time to deal with my case.... When I tried contacting her via email and telephone, she refused to get back in touch with me.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
