Felt like he was the Prosecutor!

Court appointed for my defense. Very rude and condescending. Treated me like he was the prosecutor when he was supposed to be defending me. Actually yelled at me and told me that "I wasn't his friend" when I called him with a question on my case. Pretty much said that I was guilty and that I deserve ...whatever I get. I am filing for a new attorney.

Incompetent

Doug was appointed to me by the judge since I could not afford an atty, He had the attitude from the very begining that I deserved what ever I got. He frequently berated me and yelled at me. He gave me information and than later told me he never said that. We had a deal with the DA's office that was... changed twice to my detriment. It ulitimately included consessions from me that had nothing to do with the offense. I went to court twice a month for over 8 months. The DA did not go forward because they were not ready. One time they were on vacation. I only found out later that he should have asked to have it dismissed based on my right to a speedy trial. Standing up to allocute and telling the judge that I had been adequetly represented was the hardest thing I have ever had to do but I just wanted it over with at that point. I am not the criminal type and could never understand why Doug disliked me some much as to tank my case.
