Jamie James is a dedicated attorney who puts her heart and soul into every case she has. She is highly skilled in family law, an advocate for children and an expert in child custody matters. Jamie was not the first attorney I worked with during the divorce process. I had been misguided with bad le...gal advice from prior counsel. Jamie navigated through my divorce disaster and left me with a great outcome. Nobody wins in divorce. It's a disgusting and emotional process. I felt like Jamie took me under her wing and helped me manage my drama, even if it was 10pm at night, weekends or holidays. You will not find another attorney as responsive or as emotionally invested in your divorce case as Jamie. Jamie's entire staff is wonderful. Nichole and Deana are kind, knowledgeable and respond quickly to emails and phone calls. Nick Hawks is highly skilled in the courtroom. I have been divorced for several years, but soon found myself in a legal battle again. This time, custody of my children who I adore was trying to be taken away for me. My previous lawyer, who I thought was excellent, was no longer practicing. I was recommended to Jamie James through a friend who ...had worked with her. During my initial consult, I could tell she was professional, experienced, very knowledgeable, and really seemed to care about her clients. As my battle progressed over a year and a half, I came to realize that Jamie becomes a friend. In fact, she became like my big sister looking out for me. I felt she always had my best interest at heart and what was important to me became beyond important to her. She works tirelessly to not only be prepared, but to excel. I mean working and preparing at all hours of the night. She is extremely personable, friendly, caring, and knows family law inside and out. Her staff is wonderful as well. I would not even consider going into a legal battle without her by my side representing me. Divorce and family issues can be a frightening and unknowing process, but with Jamie by my side, I could not have been more comfortable and in better hands.

Jamie James and Nick Halks became like family to me after representing me for nearly two years in a complex divorce/custody/removal case. It was a very high stress situation and I was not always the easiest client because of the pressure of it all. Sometimes I sent text messages to Jamie at 11:00 a...t night when a concern I had wouldn't let me sleep. She answered me right away almost always. If it wasn't an immediate response, I would hear back from her within a matter of hours. Jamie conducted the long trial and prevailed over a very reputable (and very expensive) attorney. Nick handled multiple court dates leading up to trial, was excellent, and also prevailed each time we went to court. I also need to compliment their paralegal, Nichole Medley. Nichole was amazing and worked so hard with Jamie and Nick on my case. I really appreciate how hard everyone worked, because it was certainly not easy. If you want a lawyer who actually cares about you and returns every call and email, hire this firm. I have to say one more thing and that is this: If you want a good judgment, be a good person. You can hire the number one lawyer in the business, but if you're guilty of being a bad parent or bad spouse, chances are the final judgment will not be in your favor.

I walked into Jamie's law office just about a year ago. Looking like and feeling like a deer in the headlights. I literally didn't know which end was up. My divorce had taken me by surprise, I had been married for 23 years -and apparently oblivious to . I needed the best legal representation I co...uld find ( you find this out very quickly the first time you go to court). Thankfully I got the best representation with Jamie, Nick, Nichole. First the calmed me down, got me to focus and guided me through the process of the court system, judges, lawyers, custody and on and on. They got me out of the hole I was in and then to even ground then got me into a advantageous place. Jamie did this by focusing on a strategy and staying the course and never giving up. I have been to court more times then I can or want to remember. Each time gets a little easier because I trust Jamie and Nick . I knew/know everything would be ok. We "won" ( Nobody really wins anything in a divorce) all of the important matters. Don't get me wrong we took some hits as well but they turned out to be fairly minor in terms of importance. I feel incredibly fortunate to have Jamie James representing me. I have the utmost confidence that she and Nick and Nichole have my back. It also doesn't hurt that they are all incredibly likable people. If I had to do this all over again ( i pray I never have to) I would choose Jamie in an instant.
