I was a Massachusetts Master plumber, running my own small business. In March of 1993, I suffered a bad injury and became disabled, instantly losing my business and everything else.
My right shoulder is "fused" in the socket. I won't bore you with the gory details, but it was very hard for a long time.
After four years of immense adversity, I returned to school to re-tool myself, graduating from undergraduate school with a terrific transcript and a surplus of scholarship money. This led to law school.
I became a lawyer to help the disabled receive the benefits they deserve. The intense worry is still fresh in my mind. I remember how releived I was when my lawyer informed me I was eligible for benefits, after being denied two previous times representing myself as a disabled plumber. It was a nightmare.
I also want to help people protect thier assets with a comprehensive estate plan, as well as handle real estate transactions and buy and sell some real estate as a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker.
Practice areas
I practice Social Security Disability because I've been there. I was a plumber, got a bad injury and became disabled. I became a lawyer to help people. Social Security Disability is a lifeline when your world has caved in around you. I know the system and understand how hard it is to fight on your own. If you are hurt and can't work, I'll fight for the benefit you deserve.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
I recently had an opportunity to work with Attorney Doyle on a recent consumer protection matter. Although there was an adversarial matter before us, Attorney Doyle was knowledgeable of the law, respectful and professional. Attorney Doyle truly puts his clients interests first. Should our paths cross again, I look forward to the opportunity to work with him again.
