Michael G Furlong

Michael G. Furlong founded the Furlong Law Group in 2004. Prior to opening his own firm, Attorney Furlong served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court and over the last 24 years worked for some of the premier Merrimack Valley law firms. Today Attorney Furlong’s practice is focused on estate planning, estate administration, real estate, asset protection, business law and select litigation cases. Attorney Furlong is a member of the Haverhill, Lawrence, Essex and Massachusetts Bar Associations and for a number of years volunteered in the Haverhill District Court Conciliation Program. 

Attorney Furlong graduated magna cum laude from the New England School of Law in 1990 where he received numerous American Jurisprudence Awards, was a member of the Dean’s List each semester and received a Trustee Scholarship for being first in his class.  

Attorney Furlong received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting from the State University of New York in 1981.

Growing up in a large musical family in Poughkeepsie, New York, Attorney Furlong pursued his passion for the arts, including becoming an award winning editorial cartoonist and member of a number of family pop and Irish bands. Since graduating from law school Attorney Furlong has resided in Andover with his lovely wife and two wonderful boys where he continues to be an avid runner and musician.
