I used this lawyer because my agent suggested I used him to review a purchase contract when I was buying my first home. Big mistake. Just to read a document he charged me $275/hr for 2.3 hrs. Also, he did not give me his rate or a quote. Otherwise I would have never used him. Didn't return my calls ...or respond. Communication was not good. The bill came out to $650. My other attorney that did the closing charged $700, which is reasonable with the work involved. This fee is way to high and he wasn't upfront. He should have given a quote like the other attorney, I had no surprises there. I've asked other attorneys and they don't charge that much to review a purchase contract. I definitely feel like I got scammed.
