As soon as we were served with a motion to quit without cause I went to the Milford Court house and was lucky enough to have hit the one day that the free lawyer of the month was there. She recommended Teresa Persico, I don't remember her name. I contacted Teresa explained our situation and set up a ...time to meet. Long story short our landlord, the MBH, and multiple construction companies, etc dropped the ball on multiple occasions. Teresa was instrumental in 1 - pointing this out 2 - siting an recent obscure Mass Supreme Court Case that I think was instrumental in our defense and 3 - getting a settlement ASAP. The landlords hands were tied and I believe that their lawyer with the help of Teresa saw the writing on the wall. Yes we have to move, however that is for the best due to the sick building syndrome, and we were substantially compensated. I would recommend Teresa in any landlord, tenant situation. Her knowledge of the law and of new cases hardly even know is exceptional. What more can I say, GREAT JOB THANK YOU.
