She and her paralegal are there to support me when I need it and the information flows smoohtly to me. I never wait long for a call back or an email to my questions. She has a great command of knowledge related to the courts, and what is considered reasonable. My situation is extremely unique and challenging. Every step of the way we have been able to win. To do this one must follow the instructions of the lawyer. Court and court time is not cheap, but for me the cost is worth every penny to protect my children. I dont think I could have found a better lawyer.

I used Attny O'Brien to review my divorce agreement from our mediation sessions as well as representing me during the actual court appearance for divorce. I found her to be very knowledgable and helpful. She was a great adviser and actually recommeded some changes to the mediation agreement which... was a benefit to me in the long run. my story is too long to tell but i promise you this deirdra is a billing machine that cared nothing about me as a client made promises to me while i was paying her thousands that soon turned into fears of my losing everything when i fell behind a a couple payments every phone call started with wheres... my money do you have my money?! she even went as low as to call me into her office for a "meeting" when I got there she said she wanted to get paid or she would file a motion to withdraw to which I told her I was making payments every time I got money but she kept sending new UNREASONABLE bills making it impossible to get ahead & that I needed to start seeing some kind of results! Less than a week later i received a 440.00$ bill for that "meeting!" on my most recent court date ( a very crucial one) she stood outside the courtroom refusing to go in until I called in a payment which I did right then & there, when she saw that I was getting angry at how my court case was turning out she said to me "HEY dont get mad at me! I didnt marry her!!! are you kidding me? (In the weeks prior to this I made a 300$, 500$ & 400$ pyt) I paid 1000.00 that day just so she would enter the courtroom with me, half of the 2000.00 owed (this included the new bogus bill of 440.00, a new bill in which she charged me for the preparation of her motion to withdraw & a new 1500.00 retainer...no matter how much I paid out there were never any results on my case only new invoices for more money) this 1000$ was every dollar in my account she took the payment went into the court room approached the judge asked for & was granted permission to withdraw from my case anyways even with those pyts tapped me on the shoulder & said (exact words) Im out of here, good luck & left me standing before the judge & my exwifes attorney alone & scared to death & wondering where all the money was & what it went towards that was already paid to her. When you are facing a divorce things are stressful & scary enough you constantly wonder if the system will be fair to both parties not just the exwife & you typically dont have a million dollars to throw around on finding the right attorney DO NOT find out thousands of dollars into your case that you made a huge mistake & hired the wrong attorney in this case deirdra obrien, do your research find a caring lawyer that has good reviews by both men & women I only wish I looked at these reveiws BEFORE I hired her Im willing to bet what little $ I have left my divorce would be over by now instead I am facing losing everything & starting over with a new attorney which I have to say is worth every penny. The ONLY thing I can thank this lawyer for is removing herself from my case before it went to trial I at least have a chance at saving what little I have left as I have already lost everything else under Deirdras representation!

Deidre O'Brien is a billing machine that fails to take the best interests of the children to heart. She is only interested in maximizing her time at the expense of her client. She will miss represent the facts, present half-truths, lies and manipulations at the expense of all parties involved. My chi...ldren have suffered because of this woman and I am considering filing a complaint with the American Bar Association.
