Never in a million years would I have ever thought I would need a lawyer, but I am very thankful I knew someone who used Deirdre and recommended her to me. From my first meeting, Deirdre set realistic expectations and fully explained the process, costs and how best to proceed in a financially responsible way. She helped me understand all my options, risks and set realistic expectations. She told me when it was prudent to dig in and fight and yet was c...lear not to waste my money on issues that would result in legal fees greater than the value of 'the win.' She helped me stay objective and not let my emotions overrule good judgement. She reminded me on several occasions not to take the bait of my ex-husband or be intimidated by his lawyer, and clarified for me the Judge is the only one that decides when people cannot agree. Because she billed monthly, there were never any surprises and it was easy to track and understand the fees. I hope I never have to go back to divorce court, but if I do, I would absolutely have Deirdre at my side. I have already recommended her to two friends and they feel as lucky to have her as a their partner as I did.

Attorney O'Brien helped me every step of the way through a really bad situation. There we many dynamics to my divorce with my ex being involved in with drugs, stealing and dealing. Just messy! Deirdre did an awesome job developing a strategy that allowed me to really set myself up well for retirement. While I had to give up more in the short term, she really taught me the importance of looking out for myself in the long term.
