Going through a very difficult divorce, my emotions ran high. What I have appreciated the most is how Bill remains focused on the important issues, separating the 'noise' from what truly matters and providing sound legal counsel. While my personal experience with Bill is all that I needed to know I had been very lucky to have hired Bill as my attorney, this was also confirmed by his peers. One day while waiting in the common area of the courthouse for court to begin, an attorney looking for her client asked if I was waiting for an attorney. I replied no that I have an attorney and was waiting for court to begin. The attorney asked, "who is your attorney ?" After replying William Mayer, she said "you are in very good hands!" Indeed I am in good hands and the fact that Bill's peers truly respect him, speaks volumes. While there is no escaping the high cost associated with divorce, I have never felt that Bill takes any action based on how much time he can invoice; his rates and time accounting are very reasonable.
