Matthew Paul Trask

Matthew P. Trask, Esq. is an attorney admitted to the Massachusetts and New York State bars and is founding member of Kelsey & Trask, P.C., a Massachusetts law firm representing clients in the State and Federal Courts of Massachusetts and New York. 

With Kelsey & Trask, P.C., Mr. Trask practices in the area of firearms and Second Amendment law, and represents clients in firearms litigation and firearms law compliance matters, including firearms licensing, NFA trusts, firearms licensing denial and suspension appeals. He represnets 07 FFL and 01 FFL in corporate legal matters, as well as BATFE compliance, and state and federal licensing issues.  Mr. Trask was nominated by the Massachusetts Bar Association to sit on the Firearm License Review Board, pending appointment by the Governor's office.  

Mr. Trask defends individuals accused of firearms and weapon violations, 209A restraining orders, LTC license suspensions and revocations, and other criminal defense matters. 

Prior to Kelsey & Trask, P.C., Mr. Trask was an associate at the Law Offices of Leslie Elliot Krause, LLP in New York City and practiced plaintiff's personal injury in automobile negligence, products liability, slip and fall and construction accident cases. 

Matthew is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Gun Owner's Action League (GOAL), serves on the Massachusetts Bar Association's Education Committee, is a Charter Member of the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Association, and the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Trask is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of New York and to the United States District Court - District of Massachusetts and the Southern District of New York. 

Prior to becoming an attorney, Matthew P. Trask served in the United States Marine Corps, and now combines his Marine Corps and legal experiences to provide strategic solutions and forceful advocacy to ensure your rights shall not be infringed.
