Nicholas G. Kaltsas

My Dad and I hired Attorney Kaltsas in 2006 to do Estate and Medicaid planning, as my Mom needed nursing home placement and both had significant assets. He handled everything from Dad's appointment of he and I as co-guardians for Mom, Dad's appointment of me as his power of attorney and executrix of ...his estate and drafting his advanced directive. His fees were on par with most other Elder Law attorneys in the area, some were much higher. His administrative assistant, Donna Ostiguy was always readily available, returned calls & followed up in a timely manner. I would and have, recommended Attorney Kaltsas to others, and requested Estate Planning packets on 3 occasions to give to others.

Atty. Kaltsas entraped my elderly and confused father to probate my mothers estate.My father already had a family probate lawyer. The fees were outrageous and my father left Atty. Kaltsas' office leaving behind a large check for future services without a contract or engagement letter. He refuses to ...refund my fathers funds. Avoid this lawyer.

He was supposed to follow through on assisting an elderly person's debt case but never did. After speaking with his assistant, she told us we'd now have to pay $250/hour for his further assistance. Big disappointment from what he told us at the local senior center when he held his "free" consulta...tions.
