Mark L. Monopoli

I was 19 when I was arrested for OUI (refused Breathalyzer) and Negligent Operation in the Worcester area, not knowing any lawyers in the area I asked around the court the morning of my first appearance who people could recommend for a lawyer – one individual told me I couldn’t go wrong with Mike/Mar...k Monopoli that they were the best, how right that individual was!   Mark is very professional and he wants the very best for his clients.   When the day of my trial finally arrived, Mark took over the court room and made points that I had never even thought about supporting me. I was arrested for an OUI back in March, and shortly after, I made the decision to hire Mark. He was fantastic every step of the way. From the second I called and set up a consultation to the trial date he was amazing. Being arrested for a first offense OUI was a difficult experience. Within a day, through word-of-mouth, I was on the phone with Mark on a Saturday afternoon going over the details of my case and what I could expect at my arraignment on Monday morning. From those first conversations through it was cle...ar that Mark knew the process, knew the players, and knew how to put his clients in the best position for defense. He reviewed my options with me, made sure I was well-informed, and helped me to elect to pursue a jury trial in my case. Through a series of postponed trial dates, Mark dedicated time over and above what would be expected to ensure I was comfortable, knew what to expect, and was prepared to stand trial. At trial he presented a compelling case, was well-prepared, exceptionally poised, and ultimately got the jury on our side. After only 6 minutes of deliberation, the jury returned with a not guilty verdict. Further, the judge dismissed the negligent operation charge I faced based on the case presented. I can't say enough about how good Mark is at what he does, how good he was to me during the process, or how glad I am that I had him representing me.

Monopoly Law was outstanding representing our son in his OUI case. Our first meeting was with Mike who explained the laws thoroughly and was very up front with the challenges and possible outcomes ahead of us. He was very professional the whole time. Very educated on all parts of the law I was involved with.
