Attentive, diligent, superb OUI defense

I was charged with OUI in Massachusetts. At the initial consultation, Attorney Schyberg listened patiently to my account of the incident and my (novice) legal thoughts about it and carefully reviewed the documents I brought. Prior to, during, and after each court date he explained the events and answ...ered questions I had. He also always sincerely took into account any thoughts I had. While being charged with OUI was initially a frightening situation having Attorney Schyberg advocate on my behalf minimized that fear to the extent possible. In the end, the case was unconditionally dismissed with prejudice (i.e. it cannot be later refiled). I did not have to plead guilty to anything, serve any probation, pay any fines, or take any classes. Between court dates, Attorney Schyberg would respond promptly to emails and phone calls and would send me copies of motions to be filed at the next date and the judge's ruling on matters from the prior session. He kept me informed of the progress of my case. I appreciate Attorney Schyberg's sincere dedication to provide first-class, unwavering, relentless, and thorough service to bring about the best possibe result for me, his client. He once told me he actually enjoyed putting his training to work and it showed in the exemplary quality of first his written motions -- they were clearly well-researched and persuasive. Futher, I found Attorney Schyberg to be just as graceful and competent at oral argument as well. Boh in written and oral his arguments were researched, organized, cohesive, on-target, and cogent. I am grateful to Attorney Schyberg for his services regarding what is, to me, still a daunting but now emotionally manageable legal matter.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards

  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
