Christopher Sharry was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts. He received an M.S. from Anna Maria College and his law degree from New England Law in Boston, Massachusetts. Before entering private practice, Chris worked as an Assistant District Attorney with the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.

Chris and his wife Jennifer, a Registered Nurse, live in Oxford with their daughter and two sons. Chris’s older son was born with a complex congenital heart defect, and his youngest son was diagnosed at age two with Autism. As a result, Chris understands the impact raising a child with special needs can have on a family, both legally and financially.

Chris’s practice is now devoted to helping families with special needs planning, in addition to estate planning, elder law and Social Security Disability. Chris is also a licensed investment advisor representative, which gives him the unique ability to assist families with both legal and financial special needs planning.

Chris is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Academy of Special Needs Planners and serves on the advisory board at the Autism Resource Central in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is a member of WealthCounsel and volunteers with Community Legal Aid in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Caring and patient
I have had Attorney Sharry as my financial advisor for several years. I switched from a very well known company. I can not begin to tell you how extremely glad I am that I changed. Attorney Sharry is professional, very helpful and very patient in explaining things I know nothing about. I could not imagine ever having another advisor that could come near his knowledge and true caring of his clients needs.

Helped with my disability
My therapist called Christopher to see if he could help me with a approval, then denial letter I received from disability. He took the time to actually listen to me and was very patient. He even took the time to make a 3 way call to social security with me on the line and in the end found out that they screwed up and I was actually approved. After he took the time to explain everything in detail so I could understand. I was so grateful he took the stress off me and took the time over the phone to help me in my opinion a very big way, since it's hard to find rides since I can't drive far any more. I would highly recommend Christopher Sharry!

A very good choice
Hiring Mr. Sharry was a good choice for me regarding my Social Security Disability case. He is very well versed in all aspects of SSDI. He was very responsive when I called him. He returns calls promptly which meant a lot to me.

I was nervous and humbled having to ask for help. From day one, he made me feel comfortable and confident. He stayed in constant contact and seemed genually empathetic to my situation. He was there for me until approval. My contact at Social Security told me the reason for my quick resolution was the preparation and forms from his office were always complete and easy to follow. Social Security Disability Case
I had a Social Security Disability case that to me was very confusing. Christopher Sharry was extremely helpful throughout the entire case. The amount of time it takes for such a case is usually very long, my case took about four years. Christopher Sharry was right there with me every step of the way. When ever I had a question or was confused about anything, Christopher Sharry was always right there to help me out anyway he could. I would recommend Christopher Sharry to anyone that needed any kind of help, in such a matter. I will definitely keep in touch with him in case his services are needed again.

Looking for the best, look no further.
Hi as a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps with severe & chronic PTSD due to combat service, I say this. I was lucky to find such a compassionate, reliable, highly intelligent, and hard working disability attorney. I found his knowledge of PTSD in Veterans to be quite impressive. Attorney Sharry possessed the knowledge others dismissed in the sense of if there's no physical impairment, there's no PTSD. I told him of some of my experiences, and he was very compassionate of my fallen comrades. And in closing, my comparison; I say this of Atorney Christopher Sharry & his firm. Favorable review of Mr Christopher R. Sharry
Mr Sharry handled my Social Security Disability case and from the very beginning it was obvious to me that he was very knowledgeable, quite skilled and professional. As my case progressed Mr Sharry answered all my questions and took great pains to recognize that he was speaking to a layperson, not an Attorney and tailored his explanations to be as simple and easily understood as possible. His responsiveness to my concerns and attention to detail makes him a credit to his profession. There was never a call he did not take or return promptly. Any question or concern I had was addressed with professionalism and honesty. The amount of work done on my behalf still astounds me and I know for certain that I could have never accomplished even a quarter of this on my own. As a client I could not be more pleased with the work that was done on my behalf and would without the slightest reservations recommend Mr Sharry to anyone in need of expert and compassionate legal representation.
