After a degree in Psychology, I decided to practice law in order to help people. To do that, I listen to the client first, slowly and carefully, then explain options to them in plain, everyday English, not legal terminology. I give free public seminars in the community and take a group of Christians to China once a year. The practice of law to me is just one more way of helping others understand an issue, meet a need or solve a problem.
My office is small and cozy. It's shared swith a CPA on the main street of a small town south of Worcester, MA in Whitinsville. It's on the ground floor. There are no stairs or elevators. My secretary is warm and friendly. I'm especially fond of her since I've been married to her for 34 years and have children and grandchildren.
We are not a general practice law firm. We specialize in estate planning, Wills, Living Trusts, estate administration (mosly in Worcester County), guardianship, and real estate closings. We charge an hourly fee for office consultations, but make sure they are focused, personal and productive. I have short videos on my website at www.johnrexford.com.
Laslty, I do return phone calls. If we don't answer the phone ourselves, please leave a message and i will call you back right away.
