Going through a separation with someone who you have lived with, depended on and had been in a relationship for 10 years with is no easy task. Although my divorce wasn't a complicated one (no assets, not contested) It was still my first divorce ever. It goes without saying it's an emotional crazy time, I have a young child, we were made homeless by this situation and I have absolutely no concept of how the law works.
