Caitlin has helped me during a divorce and as her client she was informative about the process and answered my questions. The Plg form charges an exorbitant amount of money, but she was willing to listen to my concerns.

Caitlin took over my divorce case after another lawyer had been working on it for over a year and was getting nowhere. Caitlin reviewed the case and contacted the opposing council quickly and was ready within a week to spend the day in court with me trying to come to an agreement with my Ex-husband and his attorney. Caitlin explained things thoroughly to me so I could make informed decisions during this time, and when I had questions she was not sure of she reached out to her network and got answers quickly. Because of her calm manner and tenacity (which together is tough to find) I am now divorced. She was able to complete in one week on the case and only one day with opposing council what my first lawyer could not do in over a years time and many meetings. I would recommend Caitlin to others looking for a divorce attorney.

While researching for a divorce attorney, I came across the Group W web site and was very impressed with the amount of information and detail you could expect when hiring someone from this firm to represent you. Don’t be fooled like I was.
After several months of working with Caitlin, my initial thoughts of her and Group W did a complete 180 degree turn. From the beginning, I stayed on top of my divorce proceedings, provided all the necessary information and documentation. Along the way, I asked questions and raised issues with Caitlin and initially she was timely and responsive in addressing my concerns.
About four months into this process, I heard from another attorney who started working on my case (as well as being charged his time) for information I had already provided to Caitlin. This should have been the end of Caitlin representing me, but I stuck with her (BIG Mistake).
At this point when I started to ask her difficult questions, she became very slow to respond and only made me become more uncomfortable with my decision to represent me and have my best interests in this divorce. She would never give a thorough explanation on why something needed to be done – her typical response was “this is just how it’s done or we will worry about it later”. It finally came to a point where I had to DEMAND answers, which she finally did some work. Unfortunately, when I was promised those responses a day later, they never came till several days beyond when they were due. It was at point I came to the realization that Caitlin was no longer the attorney to work with.
Your attorney should work with you and keep you informed every step of the way. Caitlin failed miserably in this area. She did not like to be questioned about her actions or inactions and while her co-workers and her web profile claim that she is a fighter, she is anything but that. Push over is a better definition of her ability. Caitlin’s lack of experience is a determent in having her work with you. I would avoid working with her in handling your divorce and would be wary of all the other attorneys that work for Group W as I fairly positive they are not much better than Caitlin.
