Awful Lawyer

Rude and treats you disrespectfully. Repeat, he does not care about you, just the bottom line and getting paid. Eden Rafferty hired him in last year, and he is pathetic, and will not fight for you in court, or in front of the Judge. He just wants to coast, and make a fast deal with the opposing at...torney, regardsless if it its in your best interest or not. His favorite thing to do, is anwser your question with question. He could give an asprin a headache. I can honestly say I wish him nothing but the worse for the rest of his life. He is also Morman and does not like representing people that are not religious.

Unprofessional at Probate&family court.

I didn't expect from attorney Aaron what he was dealing with the opposite attorney,I hired him for several hours and got pile of money, with not fighting and not protecting my rights. That I read couple comment that true, he has v.little personality, and had no answers when litigating with the oppos...ite party,The mean time I was expecting fight for me but was extremely quiet. Even he did not get the proof that I gave him before the court date, The Judge comment regarding my case, that I didn't have proof, which is the other party shown not true evidence except one was right ,then they won. So please don't waste your money and your time,I' don't recommend at probate court, maybe other situation.Search and search then hire the best attorney. Thanks what you did against to me Note: The case was recently, I'm expecting he will write I don't know who you are... Thanks attorney

Probate

I used Aaron not to long ago on a probate matter. His skills in this area seem to be limited. He has very little personality and had no answers when litigating with the opposite attorney. I hate to write a negative review but I feel like he took my money knowing he couldn’t get what I was looking for.... Absolutely no recommendations from me!

Chris, I don't know who you are, or what your case was. I have reviewed all "Chris" clients for the last several years trying to determine who you are. I haven't had a "Chris" client in the probate court in 2016, 2017 or 2018. So either "not too long ago" is really many years back (in which case, wow), or maybe you've reviewed the wrong attorney. Regardless, you're welcome to contact my office directly and tell me personally how you feel. Your review certainly runs counter to the vast majority of clients who review me.

Horrible

I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder and attempted to take my own life. My husband (who is now my ex) filed a restraining order. I started getting treatment right away because I loved my then 3-year old daughter tremendously and did not want to be apart from her at all - she was the one t...hing that kept me alive (I am 100% better today). Still, I was not allowed to see my daughter at all, which was completely counterproductive to me healing from the illness - seeing her would have been the best motivation in the world. So you can imagine, I was completely devastated and Aaron not only did not care about where I was coming from, but also did nothing to fight for me to see her. He did not even try for video calls. Further, when we went to court in Cambridge, he had no idea of how they worked and was yelled at by the judge. He lost confidence because of that and did not want to fight for me. Talk about completely unprofessional. I switched to another lawyer and in *2 weeks* she got me video calls. And then a few months later I got to have supervised visits. He never would have done any of this for me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS, LIFE-SAVING TIME WITH HIM. He will not fight for you even if your health and relationship with your own child depended on it.

Anonymous, I don't know who you are; nor do I recognize any of the details in your post. If you were ever a client of mine, it has not been in recent years; and certainly not this year - 2017. Perhaps you have me confused with another attorney. Either way, I regret that you felt it necessary to document such a negative review about me or any other attorney. I have plenty of positive reviews from former clients of mine that directly contradict the kind of behaviors you attribute to me. While I acknowledge that no business professional (including me) satisfies 100% of its client base, I remain very comfortable and confident that I have and continue to satisfy the vast majority of those who hire me. I wish you well with the continued treatment of your mental health.

Do not hire a lawyer who may threaten to sue you!

I hired Aaron Hutchins to prepare some legal documents. Fact: I was a client of Aaron Hutchins, I have a cancelled check to prove it. During the the initial consultation he took few or no notes. He did not want to look at the current documents I wanted revised. Fact: I have emails where he as...ked for basic information again and where there was confusion about what work I wanted done. He asked me to execute the documents although there were not yet revised to my satisfaction. Fact: Again I have an email where he asked for the execution of the documents. We never agreed to a schedule and although as the client I may have delayed the execution by not giving him the details of the desired changes which were extensive since he never reviewed the original documents we had for his review, and he instead just supplied a basic “template” document as a “draft” and wanted payment in full for the draft. Fact: I have an email where pricing for fully executed documents was agreed. Fact: He did not review our original documents. Fact: He provided only “templates” as “drafts” When I provided a schedule to complete the work to mutual satisfaction, Where I would agree to make my notes available to him in a more timely fashion, he outright refused. Instead he demanded payment within less than 4 business days or he would sue me. Fact: I have the email I sent him with the proposed schedule. Fact: I have his response of refusal. Fact: I have his threat to sue me, and demand for payment in less than 4 business days. Summary: There was never an agreed upon schedule. Documents were not provided to the satisfaction of the client - Me. There was never an actual invoice, just a threat demanding payment. Had this been a contractor working on a house, I would have had 30 days to pay after completion of the work. Instead I ended up with incomplete work and a short demand for payment for incomplete work. Fact: All of these claims can be backed up with email correspondence between Mr. Hutchins and me. Finally to the editors of Avvo, I you need any of the corroborating emails, or a copy of the cancelled check, I can provide all of it. I hope you demand such documentation from any positive reviews. Fact: I have this quote from Aaron Hutchins dated April 8’ “You’re welcome to pursue complaints against me with whatever bodies/groups you’d like. Full payment on or before April 13th, or I will initiate suit in small claims.” Therefore this is a fully legally allowable complaint against “Aaron Hutchins” To any readers who are still reading, although there may be some positive reviews for Aaron Hutchins, you don't want to have the troubles I had with him. Finally some speculation: Why did he demand payment just before tax day? Why was he available for a client on a holiday weekend? What might these imply about his finances?

Such a sad narrative. There are always two sides to every story. The client conveniently omitted the fact that I produced the agreed upon documents without any retainer or payment, as a courtesy to his family. The client also omitted that I created documents for their college bound child, at no extra costs. The client omitted that he had my full work product for nearly four months before I finally asked him to pay me. The client then demanded that I wait an additional three months for full payment or take only 25% of the agreed upon price and part ways. The world is full of bitter, angry people, whose true colors eventually come to light, despite having received the same excellent service given all of my clients, and from whom the positive testimonials far exceed anything to the contrary. What a shame.
