Thank the Lord that there are good lawyers out there.

Dan work in conjunction with my wife's attorney when our custody was stripped by the state. He gave us the hard truth at the beginning that it would be a long battle, but taught us to be strong and never waiver from our ultimate goal of reunification. Despite repeated attempts but the state to fabric...ate hurdles for us to endure, Dan fought vigorously against the hell my wife and I were put through. I couldn't have asked for a better friend or confidante through the toughest times.

Terrible

Terrible. Did not do anything but take 10k from me. Never did any work. Only prepared at trial and never defended a child being re-located by a mother who is a felon. Would not recommend this lawyer. Completely lost the trial and was made a Mockery. I would've been better off defending myself.

I lost my son and he never cared!

I would recommend this Lawyer to anyone with a criminal case. I had Doyle for a custody battle with the Department of Social Services, out of Whittensville, Mass. I was appointed to my case. He never answered my calls, when the people whi had my son did not show up for scheduled visits he did not...hing, I never heard from. I have been majoring in legal studies for the past year and now and only now did I find out that he should have never handled my case. i was Not a criminal. I have never been arrested for anything. Doyle was not responsive, he was not defensive, the only time we spoke was at the court house. When I tried to get a different lawyer it was a retired judge who said I should keep him. At the time I was seventeen and my son was three, now I am 30 and my son 12 I have not seen him since. Between DSS and Doyle my son was kept away from me, now I am a Deans List Student with all A's and have a desire for justice. I wonder what he would say if he saw me today.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
