As I sat in court being arraigned for an OUI charge, my life flashed before my eyes. My fear and panic was due to the several out-of-state DWI charges I already had. I though I was looking at jail time. I might have been if not for Steven. I lived in fear of not knowing my fate for 3 years. Steven pu...t up with my paranoia and anxiousness, always taking the time to honestly answer my questions. He was always just a phone call away. I am forever grateful for the time, the care, and the compassion he put into my case. The police had video of me being booked, leaving me incredibly hopeless because I had no defense. I couldn't imagine how Steven would provide any hope for me, but he did! He remarkably got me charged with a first offense, and a year probation. HIRE THIS MAN! He's the best at what he does and he really is a great guy. He will take good care of you!!! I truly am forever grateful!

Mr. Vaillancourt was my lawyer for an OUI case which I was charged with almost 5 years ago. He put in a lot of time into this case, really went above and beyond. This case went on for almost 5 years, he was always checking in with me, keeping me updated, answered my million questions repeatedly, and ...his efforts were successful as the case was dismissed! He is a very approachable, comforting lawyer who kept my outlook hopeful because he was such. He’s very matter of fact, doesn’t dance around the point and just gives it to you straight in a nice way! Steve got me the results I was hoping for after I was charged with OUI. To say the least, it was a very stressful time for me, but Steve was great at taking the burden off of me and taking it on as his own. He answered all of my questions honestly and without hesitation. Mr. Steve Vaillancourt is a savior! I was referred to him by 2 different people, so I took my chances with no regrets. He is very reliable and quick to reply to any calls or messages. He's saved me from numerous court appearances regarding my case which would've been a hassle to get time off from wor...k. Most importantly, he is honest with his answers and doesn't sugar coat anything. He helped me feel at ease when the time came for my trial date. I can attest that his presence in the court room is compelling and it's evident he shows vast knowledge of the law. I made the mistake of going with another attorney at first based on the recommendation of a friend who works for the state as a DA. The recommended gentleman wasn't straight forward about anything, especially his rates. I didn't feel like I was being listened to. At the magistrate hearing he could no...t have looked more disinterested. He encouraged me to go to AA meetings and get a paper signed to prove I was there (had to create my own form. This is something normally only done after being ordered to by a judge). His plan was to beg for mercy rather than prove I was innocent. Just for the sake of inconsistency I guess, he also tried to say the accident might have been the result of medications (even though I told him I started taking the meds as the result of stress and anxiety caused by the legal system, IE after the accident). That gentleman charged me a $1,000 fee to get things started and said everything up to the magistrate hearing would only cost about $500. When I told him after the magistrate hearing that I would no longer be needing his services he suddenly decided that all of the work he had done up to that point was worth $1,500 so we'll just call it even. I cut my losses. I write out that long story to provide contrast with Steve Vallaincourt. Right from the beginning Steve was incredibly honest. I told him I was going to AA. He asked me if I was an alcoholic. I said no. He said "then why are you going to AA?" He had a flat rate and he stuck to it, even after the case dragged on much longer than expected. He answered every question I had along the way. He showed a caring interest in myself and my family. And in the end we won. I can't imagine finding a better attorney when dealing with these accusations.
