Mr.Smith is a joke and a disgrace to the criminal justice system of America his credentials have no stamina and it shows with the mediocre service he provides to his customers. My cousin career been on hold because of this case Mr.Smith took on ! And I really am disgusted that it’s going on year 3 wi...th him giving my cousin the run around about his case and further pushing the case back multiple times. NOT ONLY THAT Mr.Smith fails to keep my cousin updated about the case and plays ghost once he is paid in full .. if you want someone to take your case seriously this is not the lawyer for you because all you will get is clown activity because Mr.Smith obviously is in the wrong field he belongs in the circus. My cousin has been patient, understanding and kind only to be chewed up and spit out multiple times and right now times are tough all of his money went into this man and the job isn’t getting done this has token a toll on my cousin mental health and I’m worried about him. Please I urge everyone to write a review and band together to let the world see how unprofessional this guy is. Much prayers to all who have him as a lawyer all I can say I’m praying for everyone salvation in this time.

Atty Smith was hired about a year ago to help resolve a criminal matter. He did not keep in contact with me regarding my case or what was happening. I didn't understand why things were delayed and continued so often because he did not show up at court. He didn't call me to explain but called the cour...t. While my case was being continued again because he could not make it to court on my scheduled date, two of my jobs put me on leave and did not rehire me. Another attorney was kind enough to step in and help me. When I went to Smith's office because he would not answer texts, emails, or phone calls, he threw me out. The new attorney handled the issue within a week of being hired. I think if Smith was still my attorney i would still be waiting for a call back. Definitely do not pay him ahead. Once he is paid in full for your case- which he will insist before taking action, he will do nothing and you will be stuck wondering what to do with no money and no legal advice from your attorney. I feel I was conned and the humiliation of being treated like I had done something wrong when I was compensating for his unprofessional conduct in not returning calls or keeping me informed was unnecessary.

As of today Joe is supposed to be representing my husband in a superior court criminal matter I have been leaving messages on his his machine for several months asking him to call me back as my husband is currently in a federal prison and needs to see his lawyer but have not received even the courtes...y of a call back never mind a letter to my husband explaining the his case as I was promised would be sent to him back in November This case was opened on January of 2012 and is still ongoing not sure where we stand at this point due to him not returning any calls.
