This may be your first divorce or adoption, but it is not mine. I have practiced exclusively in all areas of family, adoption, and surrogacy/assistive reproduction law for nearly 30 years. At NYU law school, I participated in family law advocacy and worked for a premier mediator in New York City. I am also a trained collaborative law attorney.

From our first meeting or phone conversation, I am interested in your story and how I can best help you get where you want to go. Some of my clients have been in the passenger seat of their lives and I love empowering them to step into the driver's seat. I will listen to you compassionately but offer honest feedback so that you do not waste valuable time or financial resources. I understand finances and can offer creative solutions that you may not have thought of. I take a team approach with my clients and offer you options and suggestions that make sense for your particular situation and needs. I love children and want the best for your children, as well.

I have helped over 500 families become parents through adoption and surrogacy. I was fortunate to argue a lead pre-birth order case before the Massachusetts Supreme Court allowing my clients' names to be placed on their baby's birth certificate so they did not have to adopt their own baby who was conceived through assisted reproductive technologies.
