Leslie is an excellent advocate who has helped me with various family law matters. As my lawyer, she constantly kept me informed via email and mail. She is (and has been) very responsive to my emails and phone calls. She is a seasoned lawyer and very respected by all the Judges and the Court Staff.... She is definitely an expert and can manage all types of clients. She is able to work with pro se clients and is very patient with opposing clients who are difficult to deal with. Because of her, the parties have more clarity and do not have to come back to court as often.

I could not recommend a more heartfelt, caring, sensitive, intelligent lawyer. She worked with me through a very difficult divorce case in a truly concerned and sensitive manner. She is very clear and has many years of experience in knowing how to work with the other spouse's attorney as well as kn...owing what to expect in Court and how the judge will look at the various claims. At every step of the process she was able to guide both parties as to what was reasonable and what was not. When the opposing lawyer would act in an unreasonable manner, she always knew what would be accepted and not accepted by the Court. She was always strong and able to fight for what should occur. She always had the respect of the judge for her manner and demeanor, and the proceeding and decision went always as she said. I was always able to trust in her judgement and strength. She will always manifest the strength and will to fight for what is right in any divorce agreement or trial. She was always sensitive to the needs of the children in the family. She has strong ethical beliefs that guide her work. This allows her to be strong in what is right and to fight for what should occur. From what I witnessed, this has given her the respect of her colleagues and I feel judges. She was recommended to me by several attorneys. I chose her after consulting with other attorneys. Her billing was always fair. I've heard through other friends and colleagues, how every minutiae was billed by other attorneys. Attorney Brown only billed for what was "true" work done. Being an attorney was once a more noble profession. Leslie McLellan Brown belongs to the noble part of this profession. She truly honors her professional commitment to the fiduciary responsibility of acting with full trust and confidence on behalf of her clients as evidenced by her work in my divorce and with others that I know that have worked with her as well. LMB just kept on billing me over and over again even after the case was over. she was double billing me. I left my case worse off than before I had her handle it. She over charges and is so not worth the price of 300 dollars an hour. She is very unorganized and does not even know who she is repres...enting when you meet her in court. She usually is rep. Sometimes 3 or more clients at a time while in court.

Lawyer was difficult to contact. She often confused my case with someone else. The estimate that she gave me for what it would cost to resolve my case was way off as was the resolution. The results were terrible, not at all what she led me to believe they were going to be. I felt that she was tot...ally intimidated by the opposing attorney. She acted flustered when she was in court. She also had me do one thing that was incorrect and which, in my opinion, resulted in the horrible outcome. She did not act like someone who was really knowledgeable or on top of her profession.
