Biography
Attorney Carmina Fernandes earned her J.D. Degree from Western New England University and her BDIC Degree from the University of Massachusetts . Attorney Fernandes participated in the International Criminal Tribunal For Rwanda in Tanzania, Africa. She then joined the Connecticut Courts where she drafted opinions for various judges. Attorney Fernandes believed that in starting her own practice, she could be more effective in helping people globally deal with a variety of legal issues, especially considering thra she speaks various langauges. In 2004, Attorney Fernandes founded the Law Offices of Carmina Fernandes. Since then, Attorney Fernandes is a renowned expert in contract and transactional law and has represented numerous clients around the globe. The Law Offices of Carmina Fernandes has allowed Attorney Fernandes to fully realize her passion for solving problems and helping people in all aspects of the law and in all spects of life. Attorney Fernandes speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
Attorney Fernandes is a member and Chair of the Ludlow Board of Selectmen and Past President and Board member of the East of the River Five Town Chamber of Commerce. She is also active in a number of professional organizations including the Hampden County Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Ludlow Rotary Club.
