Biography
I have acted as a Mentor for New Bar Advocates in both Hampshire and Hampden Counties. Specifically, I provided oversight and instruction on practice and procedure in the District Courts to incoming members of local Bar Advocate Programs through the Committee for Public Counsel Services.
I have acted as Volunteer for the United States Veteran's Adminsitration. Specifically, I participated in a "Stand-down" at Westover Air Force Base, Chicopee, Mass., providing free legal advice and support for our nation's veterans.
I have acted as a Volunteer G.E.D. teacher in Springfield, Mass. Specifically, I provided education and instruction to low-income and minority students eager to further their studies.
As a solo practitioner for over 30 years, I have been involved in numerous favorable dispositions, acquittals by jury and jury waived trials, dismissals pursuant to successfully argued motions to dismiss and otherwise as well as allowed motions to suppress evidence unlawfully obtained by the Government after hearing or otherwise. I have provided significant Pro Bono Publico representation of indigent persons accused of crimes.
I have been accepted onto and served on the following panels of the Committee for Public Counsel Services: District Court, Juvenile Court, Youthful Offender, Appeals and Superior Court.

Very competent and good attorney
I've been having several cases at Springfield court and some of them were criminal. And I'm not a citizen in this country. Public Defender - Plea deals...
Attorney Pritchard was appointed as my attorney. While he was a bit difficult to reach at the outset in the end he did he deliver a workable plea consistent with my immigration concerns.

Replied last May 12, 2017Thank you for the review. I have to say I was somewhat disappointed that the rating didn't come in higher. As you know, the first case you had, which was potentially jailable and deportable, was DISMISSED outright. The second case, which was a FELONY, I was able to get it reduced to a MISDEMEANOR and I was able to get that case continued without a finding of guilt, which means it will be dismissed after one year if you comply with the terms of the continuance. I'm not sure what more I could have done to earn a higher rating but in any event it was a privilege to represent you and as I told you before, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. By the way, I am NOT a "public defender." I am a private attorney but I did agree to have the court appoint me to you as your attorney. Whether I am paid privately by my client or by the Commonwealth, I work equally hard to seek the best possible outcome for all my clients.
