Great lawyer speak very well on clients behalf and is in contact with you through out your whole case

I had met miss Wilson as she was my first ever court appointed lawyer. She went above and beyond for me in that case. When a year went buy and i had caught two more cases both serious charges. I was sitting in county jail bc i had no bail on one charge my court appointed lawyer came to visit me and t...old me the only way he could get me out of jail on my court date was to plead guilty to the charge and get time served. Or i could take it to trial and get found not guilty but i would half to sit in jail until my trial date months down the road. I was upset because i new i wasn't guilty but i didn't want to sit in jail for months for a trial. I hired Shana and she came to visit me and we went over my case. she was honest and up front not promising me anything. a month went buy and my court date was here where i would find out a trial date. I was sitting in the holding cell when i herd my name called in the court room. I stood up waiting for a guard to escort me into the court room. standing next to the guard was Shana down in the holding tank. She notified me that she got the whole case dismissed/ thrown out that i dont even need to go in front of the judge I was being released from custody right then and there. I was in shock I new i was not guilty but wasnt expecting to be released that day let alone not half to go in front of the judge at all. Now im free and my court date for my other charges in another county was about to come up two days before that court date I get a call from Shana telling me I do not need to show up to court she got the charges dropped and case dismissed. She went above and beyond for me as she does all her clients I Will trust my freedom in her hands any day of the week

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
