Michael S. Gove

Michael S. Gove received his J.D. from Boston College School of Law in 2004, after graduating cum laude from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst in 2001. From 2004 until 2006, Michael served as the law clerk for the Western Division of the Housing Court and has been in private practice since then, including as the sole owner of Gove Law Office from 2013 through 2021.

Michael has developed a diverse legal practice including estate planning and administration, general business and corporate law, and residential and commercial real estate matters. Michael is committed to assisting business owners and families in looking forward and planning for the future, and to finding creative and collaborative solutions to legal obstacles.

Michael is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Hampden County Bar Association, the Hampshire County Bar Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association. In 2007, he was honored by BusinessWest as a member of the inaugural “40 Under Forty” class, in part for his work with the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission.

In 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, Michael was selected as a Massachusetts Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a professional achievement earned by no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in Massachusetts.

In 2019, Michael was named Affiliate of the Year by the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley.
