Biography
Attorney Michelle Lucier has been advocating for families and children in matters involving the Department of Children and Families since 1994. Attorney Lucier began her legal career as a staff attorney with the Committee for Public Counsel Services - Children and Family Law Program representing children and parents in child welfare matters. She also served as a family law attorney with the former Western Massachusetts Legal Services (Now Community Legal Aid) where she represented parents in child custody matters, including divorce, paternity actions, and actions involving same-sex couples. In 2004, she opened her own private practice and has been representing parents, grandparents, foster parents and children in all areas of family law in both the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts and the Massachusetts Juvenile Courts. Her work focuses on high-conflict custody matters that involve state intervention by the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families.
