Biography
Attorney Leah Walsh has been practicing with the Driscoll Firm in its San Juan, Puerto Rico location since 2022 and acts as the firm's Chief Operating Officer. . As the COO, in addition to handling a selected caseload, she is responsible for overseeing the general operations of the firm, and for working with all of the firm’s practice areas to develop and realize the firm’s strategic vision and goals. Prior to this position, she served as the C.O.O. of Ventura Law for nearly 10 years since 2011
Prior to being appointed as the Chief Operating Officer, Attorney Walsh developed and managed Ventura Law's Mass Torts/Complex Litigation department. In that capacity, she actively litigated a number of complex pharmaceutical and medical device cases, including representing victims of the BP Oil Spill and those who suffered injuries as a result of a DaVinci Robotic Surgery. She has also continuously worked on a variety of Personal Injury cases, including representing victims of motor vehicle and construction accidents.
She received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, graduating with Departmental Distinction and as a National Honors Society Scholar. She received her Law Degree from Western State University College of Law, graduating Summa Cum Laude and as Valedictorian. She is currently completing her Masters of Business Administration from Western Governor’s University.
Prior to joining Ventura Law, Attorney Walsh was employed by a number of Criminal Law firms focusing on Death Penalty Cases, Writs and Appeals. While receiving her law degree in California, she was a Law Clerk to a State Certified Appellate Specialist whom she assisted in preparing both Federal and State Appeals. She also worked as a Certified Law Clerk for a firm in Los Angeles engaged in many areas of law including Business Litigation, Real Estate, Family Law and Personal Injury.
Attorney Walsh sincerely believes in approaching each of her client's unique needs with understanding and compassion, a philosophy which is cultivated and embraced by Ventura Law.
