As a friend of Attorney Pate's plaintiff, I came to the courtroom to sit in the gallery to support my friend. What I witnessed in Attorney Pate was a man of conviction, working tirelessly to pursue justice for his client. I was moved to tears by Attorney Pate's closing argument to the jury. He not ...only fought for fair treatment and a more just world for his client, but for all Virgin Islanders and visitors to have a right to safety and security on commercial premises.

I had property damaged by a government employee. Being in the Virgin Islands, the lack of accountability left me with a hefty repair bill. I had previously reached out to two other attorneys who seemed uninterested in my personal case, experience and troubles I had faced, and simply just wanted money.... Discouraged, I gave up on the matter until a friend of mine referred Russell. Attorney Pate was sympathetic and understanding from our first interaction and took time to explain with me the different options we had. He gave me his honest opinion and sure enough, he returned with a settlement some time later. From all of our conversations it was obvious he was passionate about laws do justice and wanted what was right for everyone.
