Oh my where do I start. I have heard horror stories about this guy in jail. He told clients bold faced lies to make them sign deals. Told me to sign for 7 years or I'll get my max which was supposedly 12. When I hired a paid lawyer I find out my max was only 6 years. He made me waive time because the... da wasn't in court. Wtf. Liiiaarr. She was right there sitting in the court room. They made me waive time to find my so called victim. EFF this guy. He is probably worst than the criminals he supposedly defends but ultimately screws over

This lawyer left in the middle of an arraignment and didn't event bother to say goodbye, or alert his client that he was leaving. We were left with some random stand in who was actually more help than Ira had ever been. When Ira was told the clients plan, prior to arraignment, he discouraged the cl...ient from fighting back. He said it would all fall on deaf ears. In other words, he was not willing to even speak for me. He messed up bail amounts/procedures. He does not know bail law and is incompetent when it comes to defending the public. How can you help if you leave the court room. Poor service, very little council, and an amazing lack of integrity! This man did so little to help us! He also did next to nothing for all of the people he was defending today. He was far too busy chatting up and the DA. They seemed to be very good friends and in no way showed professionalism, but instead spent the court's time, and money just chatting about life, things not even related to the cases at hand. The DA and Ira Kwatcher chatted through most of the day...tax dollars at work!
