Can't help but to wonder who the folks are that gave Doug such good reviews. In our case he was difficult to work with, and worst of all he made a significant oversight that ended up costing us dearly, and wasted an opportunity to get access to assets.
When we discussed his screw-up he became evasive, and asked to get back to us since he needed to check a few things. When he got back to us he acknowledged that the court gave us the right to recover directly, but said his method of deposing and etc, etc. was better. This was complete bunk.
We had no less than three attorneys tell us that Doug wasted an opportunity. Yet Doug not only refused to admit any wrong doing he was also unwilling to return money, or even provide a credit for what we paid for the unnecessary work. So we fired him.
Here's a point to consider - if he admitted he screwed up we could have sued him (not that we would of) to the tune of mid five figures. So he was covering his butt, nonetheless he could have easily given us a refund for the portion of his work in question and it would've been likely about $5,000 he could've done that without admitting any wrongdoing. But that's not what he did.
I've been in business a long time, and realize that mistakes happen to the best of us, but it's how you handle your screw-ups that reveal your character, and Doug failed with flying colors. Apparently us firing him insulted his ego so much so that he took it upon himself to meddle in our case by contacting the court. A case by the way where we were being railroaded, and Doug knew that, but he still couldn't help striking out - we should've sued him. But here's the moral of the story - do yourself a favor and don't hire this guy.

I retained Doug Rose to oversee a successful litigation of a case involving a complex financial matter. What initially inspired me to hire Doug was his professional reputation, aggressiveness and clear vision of how to handle a complicated case. Throughout the process, I was impressed with Doug's legal knowledge and ability to think on his feet. But the thing that most impressed me about Doug, was his commitment to me as his client. I felt his advice was sincere and always in my best interest. If ever faced with a similar litigation situation, Doug will be the first person I call.

Great attorney handled all of our needs in a truly professional manner.
Without his help an expertise our case could of lasted a long time. I would recommend Doug to anyone who needs the job done.

Absolutly horrible is the way I could descibe this lawyer. Not helpful at all and should concentrate on his religious beliefs instead of being a lawyer. Talked till I was blue in the face about my case and he said trust me. I trusted him ok.
