Outcome: Real Estate Company settles for five figures

Description: My client, the plaintiff, hired a real estate salesperson to sell his home. The real estate salesperson was an agent in a local Massachusetts office of a prominent real estate company. The agent did not disclose all offers to the plaintiff as required by Massachusetts law. The seller accepted an offer that was significantly less than a higher, undisclosed offer. Plaintiff sued for damages, including the difference between his accepted offer and the undisclosed offer. Case heard in Middlesex Superior Court. Case settled in favor of my client, the plaintiff, for an amount in the five-figure range.
