Biography
Kevin J. Burdick joined the Cohen Defense Group in November of 2017. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Burdick had been a sole practitioner in Placer County since 1986. His practice consisted of criminal defense, juvenile delinquency defense and child dependency law. The types of cases he has handled include first degree murder, as well as armed robbery, home invasion, gang cases, sex crimes, other felonies and misdemeanors of all types.
Mr. Burdick has been a member of the California State Bar for 33 years. He is a past president of the Placer County Bar Association and past chairperson of the Placer County Juvenile Justice Commission. He also was a governor appointee to the California State Juvenile Justice Commission. Mr. Burdick served as a mentor and judge for the Placer County Peer Court program for many years.
