Description: Gaspar claimed Peshastin terminated his employment in violation of public policy when he cooperated in a law enforcement investigation. Trial court dismissed Gaspar's claim on Peshastin's 12(b)(6) motion, asserting no public policy was at issue. Appellate court reversed and remanded for trial, determining that there is a public policy of cooperating with law enforcement. Case settled in mediation after remand.
