Initially stated appeal, appeal, appeal, appeal, appeal. Ha! She appealed first denial & was denied and then said she couldn't represent me. Leaving me to scramble to find a good attorney for an appeal!
Depressed and homeless...Ms. Dunlap took my case. She filed all papers in a timely manner and when she would receive a denial from Social Security she pressed on without ever skipping a beat....!!! She took time and researched my backround, got all my medical information from my doctors and hopital visits and went to court and fought for me and won. She is very personable, not only did she win my case she made me feel like a deserving human being!!! She only required that I be honest and tell the complete truth. I also observed that when we went to my hearing I could tell that the staff in the federal Bldg know her, and treated her with much kindness and respect....It is good to have a lawyer that people in the court system like and respect. I went to jail for being behind in some DOC fines on the day of my hearing. I was fortunate enough to get out of jail that evening and the Judge and Ms. Dunlap rescheduled my appointment for the next day. That to me was just short of a miracle!!!! I give Thanks to her and the judge. The did not have to do that!!!! I feel that was an act of KINDNESS and PURE CARING!!!! To me she is a GREAT ATTORNEY!!!! If you need a lawyer that will fight for you and also cares about you as an individual pick Ms. Lucinda M Dunlap She is Great and She Looks Good!!!! I worked with lawyers in the past and she has been the best by far!!!!
I was denied short term disability by my company's private insurance and suffered through three appeals that were also denied. I worked for over 30 years in the same type of job throughout the country and suddenly my health issues caused me to be unable to continue. I was dealt a severe financial hardship when I was unable to continue working. I hired Lucinda Dunlap after it was suggested to me that I try Social Security Disability. I was very sceptical as I had heard it was near impossible to receive SS disability on a claim that deals with medical issues dealing with the back. After the initial denial from SS, (which I fully expected), Ms Dunlap turned the tide and had my case accepted within three weeks! I am very grateful.
I recently hired Lucinda Dunlap from Chihak&Gustad for my S.S.N. disabilty case to try to win my disability payments. I hired her on Feb.17 2010. She was very very professional. Any time I had a question about my disability case all I had to do was send my question via email and she would send the answers to any question I had most of the time it was by the end of that day.I had alot of questions for Lucinda through out the 18 months and she would always send me any answer to any of my questions or advice I asked her for usually by the end of that day. If she was not avalible becuse she was out of the office her case manager would email me and let me know if she was out and she would send me the requested information the next business day.Lucinda was very very great. If I ever know anybody or a friend who needed a attorney for their S.S.N. needs, that they should do them selfs a favor and call Chihak&Gustad and ask for Lucinda M. Dunlap. I would have to say on a csale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best I would give Lucinda a 10+++++.. I hope the owners or the boss at Chihak & Gustad see this. They should hire at the least 10 or 15 more Lucinda's. Lucinda was very professional knew her job and how to do it. So in conclusion Mr.Chihak & Mr.Gustad what ever you do don't ever loose Lucinda she is very excellent in every way at her job. Finally you all should give her a great big raise!!!!!
My contact was for information and possible service. While not required at this time, Lucinda Dunlap was well informed about my needs and possible resolutions. She forwarded me information to help me further understand the situation and was very kind in her manner. When the time comes, she will be the one I trust with my social security disability issue.
