About Me

I have practiced law in Seattle since 1970.  While my primary focus is in Bankruptcy representing creditors and debtors in Chapters 7, 11 and 13, I have also litigated matters in state, bankruptcy  and federal courts as well as arbitrations and mediations under the auspices of the AAA and JAMS.  I counsel clients on business matters including incorporations, formation of limited liability companies and partnerships, asset purchases and protection.

I was the first editor of the Washington State Bar Association's Creditor/Debtor Section Newsletter. The Chair, Mandatory Continuing Education Board, Washington State Bar Association, 2003-2005. A frequent Lecturer for Continuing Legal Education in Washington. Member and Chair, Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment. Certified Specialist, Business Bankruptcy Law, American Bankruptcy Board of Certification, 1994-2000.

I hold the AV rating (highest by Martindale Hubbell National Attorney Rating Services) and was named on of Seattle Metropolitans Magazine’s Top Lawyers for 2010
